Premium sets include:
Premium C-locks Very large thick C-locks......you could call them
gigantic
Studs are hard chrome plated and will not scuff like powdercoating
C-locks drop below the lower stud.....substantially unlike the
original......yes that means it's better
Drive pins hard chrome plated to
resist rust
Studs are longer to get brace started before you raise the C-lock to
install. You only have 2 hands right? We should patent this......but
we don't have time......we are busy taking orders all day.
Stack pins are larger with less clearance. Can you say higher quality?
This causes interference inside the tube with the seam......which is a
pain in our xxx......so we then also take the time to hand grind this
down and hand fit each and every frame vertical opening to the stack pin
size. Do others? Are you kidding?
Painted inside vertical tubes. What did you ask? No......Of
course nobody else does this. They don't care if your frame rusts on
the inside AFTER you buy it.
Braces are now upgraded to overkill. Galvanized inside and out, thicker
tube metal up from 1.7 mm to 1.8 mm.

Is is Heavy Duty?
First of all........ We only carry heavy duty
contractor grade scaffolding. It's not a cheap or a light duty
frame. We are extremely efficient at getting it from the raw material
to your door. That's our secret.
How do you sell a high quality set at these
prices?
Many different ways. It's not rocket science. We do a whole lot of little things right. No excessive overhead. No bad debt or AR. We don't accept PO's or anything else but payment up front. Like a Credit card......or wire........or check......and a few other ways.. This means we don't have to pay personnel to deal with collecting, bad debt, slow pay......etc, etc, etc........need 500 sets and don't trust us? No problem call Jerry and he'll make it work. We have NEVER had a large order turned around for quality. And we usually......I don't want to say always............ end up with repeat orders where the customer buys over and over and over and becomes our friend as well...............repeat business means we are doing something right for those of you that are skeptical........we are the largest LTL shipper in our county here in Eastern NC........so we have to be doing something right. Now back to the frame..........
What does 5x5 mean?
It's the size of the frame used. 5 ft high x 5 ft wide. The brace determines the distance between the frames and standard spacing is normally 7 ft and 10 ft and in NY the standard is 8 ft.........we don't currently do 8 ft.

Only the price is lightweight. There is a difference between us and others you are comparing us with. You will not get higher quality by buying a name brand locally even if you pay double or triple. The more you read on our website the more you can come to understand this. We sell direct. Direct means straight from us to you. We design, engineer, constantly improve, direct sell, direct ship, etc to you. Over $600 on an order and there's no freight or sales tax. Please don't call and ask if I buy over $600 is it free freight and no tax. YES! In the continental US. We take the time to talk to you whether you need 4 pigtails, 2 stack pins for $2-3 bucks or you need 700 walkboards or 1500 frames. Doesn't matter. What's important is we don't use dealers or middlemen. We pass the savings on directly to you. We have taken the time to write down here the differences throughout the website and hope you will take the time to read about it.
Our frames are powdercoated yellow and the brace is galvanized. Stack pins and spring rivets are included.
Will mine work with yours?
So to see whether we are compatable with you.....and many brands are stackable with ease........simply measure the outer diameter of your tube...this is 1.625 mm OD. Check the width of the frame as well. If your center to center of the tube on the frame is 60 inches it will stack. Next check that your measurement from one center of tube to center of tube from one frame to the next frame is exactly 7 ft............if this is all a yes then they should stack with no problem.
We have our load tests posted in the top left hand corner above you right here on this page.......these sets are load tested to about 72,000 to collapse.....this is not the load rating...this is the fail point. .........if you are wondering whether it will hold you with plenty of margin for safety.......... that's 9 Suburbans if you think about it.

How long to receive my order from the time I place it online with your shopping cart or a phone order?
If you really need it we can usually get it out same day if you call us early in the morning. We have automated wrapping equipment and can process, pack and ship in under an hour....if pushed. But this is hard on us......call early EST for best results. Normal ship times are order on the shopping cart last night and it ships today. We don't ship on Sat or Sun. Here are some examples of how long to get to you from us here in Greenville NC. These are weekdays. Freight doesn't deliver or run on Sat or Sun. Add 1 day if residential.

Each set includes 2 yellow powdercoated frames, 2 cross braces(each looks like an x with 2 single tubes riveted in the middle), 4 stack pins with a 1 inch collar, (this means add 1 inch in height for each stacked set you add upward if trying to be precise with the exact height) and 4 heavy duty spring retainers.........

Basic frame with 3 ft of height and 5 ft wide. Tube is 2.5 mm
thick......which is .098 thick compared to most @ .90 or .95 in. Comes in 24
in or 27.75 pattern spacing. Please inquire as to current availibility
regarding pattern. Has hi-vis yellow powdercoating and our recently enlarged
flip locks. Increased size offers more leverage to go easy on the
fingers.......also increases locks ability to not flip open. 26 lbs. 2 Stack
pins and 2 spring rivets are included.
This is a set of our nicest highest quality 6' 6" x 5' scaffold walk-thru sets.
When to use these frames as opposed to 5x5 ladder sets? Well if
building a row or line where you would like to be able to walk from end to the
other end of a tower on one of the lower levels this frame is the answer.
It allows you to hold supplies or tools in hand and walk unimpeded from one end
to the other without having to bend your head down or stepping up and over a
lower horizontal bar.
This frame comes with an upgraded C-lock's and load collapse occurs around
60,000 lbs in lab tests so it's very heavy duty.
The disadvantages are it's a bit harder to climb than 5x5 frames and you
can't move walkboards to different standing heights like you can with a ladder
frame. Good for budgets as it gets up higher for a bit less money.

This
is a high quality walkthru frame with C-locks and yellow powdercoating. We
have added a ladder to our walkthru pattern to give you the versatility of
our walkthru frame and the ability of a ladder frame for climbing ease.
This allows you to build a long tower and walk end to end underneath but be
able to climb with ease. Brace pattern is 27.75 stud to stud same as
standard BJ pattern. 2.3 mm tube thickness. Upper two locks are C-locks and
we include a third lower flip lock so you can move the brace up or down.
Move it high when you have a walkboard low on the ladder or move the cross
brace low when you are using the board high. It's really nice to have this
ability.........and you don't get that with braces on a 4 ft pattern. Weight
52 lbs. Includes 2 braces,4 Stack pins and 4 spring rivets.
The following are examples of having 3 locks and being able to move the brace high or low to allow the board to be moved up or down to help get it out of your way while working and to avoid interference between the board and brace.

This is a set of our nicest highest quality 6ft 6in x 5ft ladder style scaffold. Frames are 1.625 in OD tube with a thickness of 2.5 mm. Powdercoated yellow and C- locks on the two upper attachment points. We include a lower attachment point so the brace can be moved up or down when working. Use this frame when you want more head clearance than a 5 x 5 frame provides. With this frame you get a full 6 ft 5 inches of head clearance instead of having to bend over while working. Think about that for a moment. Imagine using 5 x 5 with a 5 ft height having 2 sets end to end and walking back and forth and having to step up and over the lower horizontal bar while bending down at the same time. It's not easy! With this taller frame it's a snap.

Use this set of narrow scaffolding in tight places like an alleyway in the city or inside in a hallway with high ceilings. Scaffold outriggers are available to increase the base width approximately 30 inches. If using one on each corner the base width can be increased a total of 60 inches (5 ft). This increases total width to over 7 ft, which allows freestanding to 21 feet. This allows you to stack three sets high and still be stable and within OSHA's 3 times.
This allows versatility that isn't available with 5x5 sets. You can use this in a tight place and then add outriggers for stability when freestanding as a tower. The rungs are perfectly spaced 12 inches apart so walkboard can be adjusted in very small 12-inch increments so you can stand at just the right height.
Have you ever had to work overhead and you couldn't reach the ceiling or you had to crouch or bend over all day? Well, this scaffold platform will solve that issue.
