Tie bars are used to secure your scaffold by “tying off” to an existing structure.

Both ends have brackets in different orientations to accommodate different angles at which you can lag bolt the tie bar into existing structure. The opposite end connects to a scaffolding configuration by way of a tube clamp with a tightening bolt.

We recommend using this tie bar every 12′ – it literally anchors the tower to the wall.

When a configuration is properly tied to an adequate structure, outriggers are unnecessary.
