Some points about our board:
It’s the best 10′ aluminum/plywood board made. Anywhere. End of story.
Our 10′ severe duty aluminum/plywood walkboard meets the common standard 75 lb/sq ft and that’s what we rate it at for common sense safety purposes. Please don’t put more on it than that.
However, the true number is 143 lb/sq ft! This is rated at the industry standard with a 4 to 1 safety factor. Given the total load applied of 9,040 lb and the15.8 sq ft area, we can divide and get 572 lbs/sq ft. Using the 4 to 1 safety factor gives you 143 lb. It’s ox strong and does not flex, which makes me feel good when I’m on it. That’s how we define quality. It’s fully modular so you can repair any part and uses quality plywood made with the more expensive phenolic resin waterproof glue.
Don’t even think about a 50 lb/sq ft rated 10′ board. It’s got way too much flex. If you want the best, narrow your decision to 75 lb boards only. Then look at who’s the strongest, meaning which board flexes the least.
