Our Southern Yellow Pine OSHA planks are sourced right here in the southeast United States.
These planks arrive at our warehouse as candidate stock, from there our team of Southern Pine Inspection Bureau (SPIB) certified graders sort the planks and determine which will meet OSHA standards for scaffold plank.
We have an ever expanding array of state-of-the-art equipment in our growing lumber operation. The planks that make the grade will have all four corners clipped on a 45° angle 2″ from the end of the plank, and 8 mm steel rods are inserted through the width of the planks on both ends. These measures greatly reduce splits and warping during use.
Finally these planks are rolled with our official SPIB grade stamp and OSHA Plank is hand stamped onto their sides.
