We’re proud of our guardrail system. We call it 3-4 because it has a patent-pending feature that allows the removal of one of its side panels when working close to a wall. This feature is great, but we’re more proud of the sturdy, safe feeling it gives generally.
We improved the typical tolerances to achieve this, mostly by adding square fittings where the guardrail connects to the scaffold. We also made it adjustable, so it always fits proper.
The unit comes with our patent pending latch posts, they secure end panels in the absence of one side panel – allowing unimpeded access to work surfaces. Conventional guardrail systems have one-inch circular tubes that connect to one and one third inch square receivers. It’s a sloppy fit. We added a square peg, tightening up the tolerances to drastically reduce rocking motion in the guardrails.
